DMA Sales, LLC (DMA) celebrated International Women’s Day by shining a bright light on the valuable contributions of its female management team members.

“The ratio of women managers within DMA Sales is 4 to 1 over their male counterparts. This is a statistic that we are very proud of, celebrate, and hope to see grow even higher in the future, especially given the typically male dominated ranks of the automotive aftermarket as a whole” said John Treece, President and CEO. “ Frankly speaking, we really don’t think male or female when looking for talent to lead our organization. Our company’s culture is about focusing on the “best talent” for the job. It just so happens the best of the best were women in our case.”

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was “Balance for Better”. “This is very fitting when it comes to DMA Sales“, remarked John Treece. The female leadership of DMA also participates in giving back, by mentoring other women looking to enter our industry.

“These are strong, proud, smart, and aggressive women who know what it takes to service our organization and our customers with excellence across every aspect of our business. I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such a group of dedicated ladies.”

The automotive aftermarket is a great industry for women to seek very fulfilling careers. All be it an industry that has not traditionally been considered by women, it is a modern and equally open workplace, where women can ascend to the highest of leadership positions.
